am i the only one that looks at pictures/posts like this and thinks realistically? sure it sounds bad but the truth of the matter is that higher education costs more than a gun because of the length of time it takes to receive a degree (anywhere from four years to eleven years depending on what you’re studying and the degree) and the number of people and facilities involved (professors, textbooks, housing etc.)

the fact that it’s easier to buy something that’s easily mass produced as opposed to something like an education is not a conspiracy, it’s life. i’m not saying colleges don’t rape students with loans and that certain schools definitely charge an exorbitant amount for their tuition, because they do. but if you want to pay for college with the same amount of money you buy a gun with, say goodbye to the teaching profession because nobody is going to work as hard as a professor for that amount of money.
